Refurbished (and new) Frames

If you've been lusting after a quality titanium frame, but have not been quite able to swing the cost, this might well be your best chance ever to own one.  After nearly 20 years, the collected batch of frames needing repair was refurbished by my fabricator, and are now ready to be returned to the road.  All are in (at least) great condition, and all would pass for new frames other than light marks from mounting of the rear wheel (which leaves the tell-tale circular impression on the face of the dropouts, and are entirely obscured when you mount a wheel on the frame, of course).  Some ARE new frames.  Most have 1" head tubes, which continue to work just fine (and save weight and look better, IMHO).  A quality 1" fork and/or headset can be included with these frames at a really great price.

Why these frames are a great deal... first, they're Habanero frames, which means they're designed and built to the high standards that have been enjoyed by riders for decades.  Second, they come with all the same warranties that all Habanero frames include.  Third, due to the essentially unlimited fatigue life of titanium, a used or refurbished, straight titanium frame should last as long as a brand new one.  And finally, with the money you save on the frame, you can buy nicer components for your dream bike (or maybe just finance a nice bike adventure somewhere this spring).

Here are the frames that are available:

Type Size Condition Head Tube Notes Price Fork Option (with these frames only)
TT/Tri 64 New 1-1/8" Round 31.8mm down tube, straight stays, down tube shift lever bosses $495 WHISKY No.7 Road Fork - QR, 1-1/8" Straight Carbon Steer Tube - $250 WITH Cane Creek 40EC Headset including install
TT/Tri 62 New 1" Round 31.8mm down tube, straight stays, down tube shift lever bosses $500  $435 Ritchey Comp Carbon 1" - $150 / or $200 with Cane Creek 40EC 1" Headset including install

Check back for additions to the "refurb list"... we'll be adding used and new old stock frames occasionally...

Other forks are available as well (see here)

Add a Cane Creek 40 1" or 1-1/8" headset for $64, which includes installation of the headset (and crown race if you purchase a fork)

Note: forks with 300mm steer tubes will not allow many (if any) spacers to be mounted on 64cm frames, and approximately 2cm of spacers on 62cm frames.  Call / write for special pricing on Wound Up road forks with 400mm steer tubes.  Also, I can include an adjustable stem that will allow bar height adjustment without spacers.
